Celebrating 14 years of saving lives!
Our goal is to find forever homes to the rehabilitated horses. If you are looking for a new horse, we encourage you to consider adopting. We keep our rehoming fees low, covering the cost of vaccinations, feed, and vet bills. We're not in the market to make a profit - only to continue rehabilitating as many horses as we can.
If you are interested in adopting from us, visit our page of availabilities and adoption process.
The only funding we receive comes from private donations and adoption fees. No donation is too small, and can be made one time or on a monthly basis.
Easily donate through our PayPal account, or by mailing us.
Add us as your charity on Amazon Smile, iGive.com, and Kroger Community Rewards.
We are operated 100% by volunteers. You don't have to be an expert horseman to help out; you just need a passion for helping animals. Volunteer positions include: daily feed and care of horses, facility maintenance, fundraising teams, event planners, horse transport, networking, and more.
If you are interested in becoming a member of our family of volunteers, please contact our volunteer coordinator Patti Simpson at
615-289-0777, or email redemptionroadrescue@gmail.com.
Sponsoring is a great alternative to those who cannot adopt or volunteer time.
By becoming a sponsor, you will help cover the rehab costs for a horse. A full sponsorship for one horse is a commitment of $200 a month, which covers the intake exam, feed, medications, supplements, farrier care, vaccinations, and other vet bills as long as the horse is a resident at the rescue.
You can also make a monthly donation amount of your choice for one of our residents. No amount is to small. $20 buys one bag of grain, $25 buys one hoof trim for one horse (needed every 5-6 weeks), $50 buys one round bale of hay, $100 buys one dental float for one horse, $150 covers the Intake Exam, vaccinations and worming for one new rescue.
Over the course of a single year, Redemption Road Rescue holds nearly a dozen fundraisers and benefit events. We boast an amazing all-volunteer fundraising team, allowing us to acquire additional funding for our animals and facility. Attending fundraisers is a fun and personal way to become further involved in our cause. Our benefit events range from yard sales and open houses to 5K races, silent auctions, and our annual Make It Shake It Martini Party.
The current schedule of special events can be found on our Facebook Events page. We hope to see you at our events!
The easiest way you can help Redemption Road Rescue is to spread the word. We understand the power of word-of-mouth and the impact it can make.
If someone you know is struggling to maintain their horses, tell them about us and how we can help.
If you come across a property where the horses appear to be neglected, contact your local sheriff's department and state Ag Department, and they will take appropriate action.
Follow us on social media! We have an active presence on Facebook and Instagram, where we share current availabilities, major news stories, upcoming events, photos/videos of the horses, and more. Like and share our posts to help us spread awareness.
Your support and contributions will enable us to continue our mission.
